A natural, interesting and comfortable atmosphere is my preference here.
I have learned that a number of things may contribute to these qualities in a photo session. However, none is absolutely necessary.
Little or no posing.
Meeting with you ahead of time to discuss your wishes.
Having enough time for the photo session to be unhurried.
Selecting a location which you find beautiful or and which you feel comfortably
yourself.
Bringing a family member or a friend, someone around whom you feel at ease and natural.
Dressing in clothes in which you feel comfortable and natural.
