| Our Approach |
Our style is to work closely and supportively with you to capture beautiful and memorable images of your wedding day. In our planning meeting, we clarify your hopes (and maybe your dreads) for your pictures and, together, begin to form a general plan. Part of this plan is the photo package you design that best fits your wishes and your budget (see below). |
Photojournalistic, artistic, and personal. These have always been the defining qualities of our wedding photography. This means that we try to show the natural unfolding of a story as we capture the people, the settings and the fun of the whole day. Our attention moves back and forth from touching moments to telling looks; from detailed close-ups to sweeping views; and from the simply beautiful to the obviously memorable. We often take about 600 photos for a wedding. |
| Formal without excessive posing, candid without being intrusive. Traditional wedding party, family, couple and bridal portraits can be created without overdoing formal posing. And we are known for candid close-ups without the photographer intruding on the wedding atmosphere. |
| Our special interest in weddings. Over thirty-six years of wonderful partnership leaves us (Kirk and Dee) with little doubt about how beautiful marriage can be. Throughout my long career in photography I (Kirk) have been compellingly drawn to natural images of people. And, since I work closely with couples in my first career, I have a special fondness for supporting and celebrating the possibilities of marriage. |

Below is the basic structure of our packages. Contact us to discuss your wedding and the current fee schedule that applies. |

| Deposit: For all packages there is a non refundable deposit required to reserve our services for your wedding day. This deposit is applied directly to the cost of your photo package. Payment of this deposit indicates your acceptance of the terms set forth here concerning photography services, products and payments. You will be provided an electronic or printed receipt indicating payment received. | |
| Design or Choose Your Own Package: Our package options offer a maximum of flexibility to suit your needs and wishes. You may choose either a prearranged package (Basic, Extended or Comprehensive) or one you design yourself as we discuss your wishes and budget. |

Component Options. Packages are created by either choosing predesigned (Basic, Extended or Comprehensive) selections of the following components OR by selecting your own preferred mix of individually priced components: 1. Engagement Portraits (on-site out doors or studio or both) 2. Bride and Groom Portraits (wedding day or prior to wedding day) 3. Group Portraits of Wedding Party and Family 4. Ceremony Photos 5. Receiving Line or “Excusing” Guests Photos 6. Candids of Everyone and Every Event, Documentary Style 7. Early Reception to the End of Dinner Photos 8. Later Reception Photos to Well Into the Dancing Photos |

| Photo Product Options | |
| Portrait Enlargements. Beautifully finished, artistically retouched portraits are priced according to size (4x6 inches and up) and are available on archival lustre, matte, semigloss, textured fine art and glossy papers (no extra charge for different papers) using archival ultrachrome inks. Pure black and white or delicately toned prints are available at no extra charge. 4x6 prints are at economy rates. Note: Your photos will have a long life. Both proofs and final prints will be permanently preserved through digital archival methods for any future reprints you might desire or need (as in the case of accidental damage to your prints). Prints are made using pigment-based inks and archival papers that have tested light-fast/nonfade durability ranging from fifty-three to well over one hundred years. This is three to six times the projected life-span of standard, dye-based commercially available color prints. |

| DVD Slide Show Of All Portrait Proofs. A professionally designed slide show using all the portraits created for your wedding project. This beautiful story of the day unfolds with music which you may choose or for which you simply give us some guidelines. |

| CD of all photos purchased. These images are perfect for archival storage, making DVDs, and use in emails or web sites. |
|
| Economy 2.5 x 1.75 inch thumbnails. Especially suitable for scrapbookers. These uncropped, unretouched thumbnails selected by you are available on uncut sheets of 12/page at economy pricing. | |

| Your Online and Printed Proofs | |
| Your online proofs are usually ready for viewing two to three weeks after the wedding via our web site. Within a few more weeks, online thumbnail images of every photo taken are provided. All images remain online for at least 6 months. Printed proofs as enlargements and contact sheets are also made available to illustrate different papers, sizes and tone options (black and white, sepia, etc.). | |
